When We Meet
Mercian Scribes meet monthly in Lichfield for workshops. These generally start at 10am and finish at 4pm and are led by professional tutors and cover many interesting and varied topics.
Some workshops are led by our more experienced members and these operate with an at cost charge for the room hire only.
We break in August for the summer but have a ‘fun’ workshop in the month of December. Our venue is in the centre of Lichfield and has ample parking. The studio in which the workshops are held is large and has good facilities. There is a cafe on site serving teas and coffees; sandwiches and cakes.
Tamworth & Lichfield College – Lichfield Campus
The Mercian Scribes meet regularly at the Lichfield Campus and a number of members attend Calligraphy courses run by the College taught by Peter halliday.
