Raised gilding workshop with Peter Halliday
After introducing Peter to the assembled class (there were some who had not yet met our distinguished Honorary Member and tutor) we gathered around the demonstration desk he had set up, to be introduced to raised gilding.
It was a busy day and I felt that we learned a good deal about gilding with gesso. Many thanks to Peter for all the information. Now it is up to us to practise!
